Asher means "HAPPY", and there were no truer words said about a little boy than these words said about Asher! He is truly one that seeks out the pleasure in the little things in life, and he lives life to the fullest.
Asher is a young Prince-in-the-making already as he knows how to properly greet a female by gently holding her had stretched out in front of her as he takes it to his lips and suavely says "Pleased to meet you, my Dear". That line gets tons of giggles from the girls, as he turns a wonderful shade of red in the process. He isn't embarrassed, I don't think, but he's blushing at the attention itself, and seems to revel in it completely. He's definitely a little charmer, to be sure!
Asher loves to play outside and run around like a typical little boy. He loves to explore and climb, and run and jump. He especially loves to find little creatures around the yard with his big brother, Aiden. The two of them seem to love earthworms, but while Aiden will find them, ASHER will be the one to dig them up! He loves to get dirty and doesn't mind getting down into the mud for things. He's a "man's man" in the full sense of the word, because he is just totally a guy.
While he's a man's man , he has the other side of him that is so sweet and gentle that makes him so irresistible to girls. He'll be the one that will always bring a girl flowers on the first date. Those flowers won't be the store bought roses that don't smell good, but they will be the lovely, fresh-cut ones from the yard. He just seems to know what makes a girl feel special and he enjoys giving his sisters a hug or kind word.
Asher's quite smart in his school work, and is already in 1st grade before he's even turned 6 yrs old! He's almost fully reading on his own, and is really very good at getting all his work done quickly and efficiently. He doesn't always LIKE to do his schoolwork, but can always be convinced to get it done, and he does so with such enthusiasm sometimes, that it's a pleasure to teach him. He especially loves going to our home school co-op where he enjoys his Science & History classes and when he sees his special gal pal, Hennia.
Asher is quick to please and easy to get out of a bad mood. He is always so quick to encourage his mommy and to thank her for the meal cooked for dinner. He seems to really appreciate all the little things that mom and dad do for him around the house, and he is always giving hugs to his big Sister, Arielle, when she's available to receive one. He really loves to cuddle, too! Not only is he a delight to be around, but he really is a GOOFBALL, too! If someone's not having a good day, he's sensitive enough about it to allow them their bad mood, but funny enough to make them giggle their way out of it.
Asher is the only one of the Nieshalla clan that doesn't really resemble mom or dad, but looks identical to Grampa. It's funny how all that genetic stuff happens, but he looks just like him enough to have Grampa's friends all nick-name him "Little Ed". He was little when his Gramma died, but she had fond memories of times spent with him as he crawled up onto her lap just for a quick snuggle or kiss. That's the way he's always been-- instinctively knowing when someone needs that extra loving care, and always willing to be the one to give it. The woman who ends up marrying this little dude will be blessed as a wife, indeed!

Oh my goodness. It's like you're describing my Samuel here. They sound sooooooooo much alike!!! Remind me...how old is Asher? Samuel's birthday in March 2000.
